Trev Deeley Motorcycle Museum

A postponed flight to work resulted in a trip to look at gorgeous motorcycles. The Trev Deeley Harley dealership has an entire wing dedicated to rare old bikes.

The current theme is "movie motorcycles"...so this is just a thin slice of the 270 bike collection that is always evolving.

Here's a few photos that focus ( focus...get it ) on the various Harley engine types.
1912 single cylinder and belt drive

1972 750 cc/45 cubic inch race engine

1922 F-head twin cylinder with exposed valve train

1941 Harley Servicar with flathead engine that stayed in that model until the 70's

Easily my personal favourite on the floor...1936 Knucklehead Harley

1929 Flathead Harley

1990 Fat Boy with Evolution engine

1970's Harley 125cc dirt bike from the years when they were owned by AMF of bowling ball fame

Replica of the famous Captain America chopper from the movie "Easy Rider"....built by Panzer....Panhead engine

Harley Sportster from the 1970's AMF era

1942 flathead Harley for the army

Modernized Panhead built by S&S Motors

Rare horizontally opposed 2 cylinder Harley engine from 1920
Replicas of the bikes that Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper rode in the movie "Easy Rider"....drop the needle on the Steppenwolf record any time now
1929 Brough Superior ( sounds like bruff )...at the time the most expensive motorcycycle in the world....Lawrence of Arabia was killed while riding one of these.

  1. Hi Mike, great pics, another museum to visit is about 25 kms west of Salmon Arm. The Trev Deeley Museum has a way of displaying that makes the visit very worthwhile.
