One of the earliest songs I wrote was "Logging Town" It sat dormant for years until I started to meet talented musicians at the now defunct Railway Club...or Railway Stage in Vancouver BC.
I wanted something that sounded similar to Steve Earle's, Copperhead Road...and ...spoke about the life of a West Coast logger.
Here's an early demo by my West End neighbor , Kirk McSheffrey
And...a ramped up version by Steve Sainas. The first Railway Club musician that I partnered with in producing a song,
And then..another version that The Vancouver king of rockabilly, Jimmy Roy recorded for me.
Next..A song that is meant to follow up on the story of Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen....Hot Rod Lincoln.
